Alyssa Milano has gone green in a new pro-vegetarian campaign for the People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) - by wearing nothing but lettuce, asparagus and cabbage leaves.

The star wears a floor-length organic gown, which features an asparagus corset.The ad is part of PETA’s ‘Let Vegetarianism Grow On You’ campaign. Milano, who does not eat meat, is urging fans to boycott meat and checkout PETA’s free vegetarian recipes.

The 38-year-old actress, who is said to be dating Sex and the City hunk Jason Lewis, has reportedly told best pal Courteney Cox that she wants one of her male friends to help her conceive a child.

"Looks, intelligence and personality are all in the equation because she wants beautiful, bright children to make her life complete"

Potential candidates allegedly include current lover Lewis and ex-boyfriends British model Paul Sculfor and Vince Vaughn.

The source added: "While Jen may have soured on marriage after her divorce from Brad Pitt, she's still desperate to start a family. New mum Myleene and Hollywood actress Jolie both got 20 per cent of the vote in an online survey carried out by British newspaper The Sun.

Actress Katie Holmes bagged the third slot. The fourth yummiest mummy was Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

Troubled pop star Britney Sprears got the fifth place with 10 per cent of the vote, while Posh Spice Victoria Beckham came sixth.

Rounding up the list were Demi Moore and Jordan, with four per cent of the vote; Pamela Andersonwith three percent, and Geri Halliwell with two percent of the vote. (ANI)

Wearing a black sequined bikini and black boots, Spears performed her racy new single, “Gimme more”, at the trendy Palms Casino resort in Las Vegas. The sexy, some might say vulgar, number was Spears’ biggest performance since she put her career on hold in 2004.

But an out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards - but for all the wrong reasons.

Kicking off the show Sunday night with her new single, "Gimme More," Spears looked bleary and unprepared.

Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused look on his face; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless.
